NDIS Readiness Workshops Registration: City and Southern Melbourne

Description:

Are you unsure about the upcoming National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)?

Do you need some assistance collating the information for your first planning meeting?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is the most significant change in Australian social policy since the introduction of Medicare in 1975, and is a different way of providing support for people with disability, their family and carers. The NDIS is scheduled to roll out in your region shortly.

To help you understand the changes, Inclusion Melbourne, with support of State Trustee’s has developed a series of workshops to support you transition to the NDIS. The workshops will run every fortnight (see reverse for more details).

The workshops will provide you with information, guidance to set goals, helpful tips, and assist you to complete all the necessary paperwork for the planning meeting.

In addition to the workshops you will have the chance to meet with other families that we support in your local area.
