Simon loves ships, boats, and the sea. He enjoys travelling to and exploring the city. He is very handy with tools, and enjoys building things.
Simon’s recent projects include a Bird feeder, DVD stand & book shelf.
Simon has recently committed to volunteering his time on a weekly basis, as part of the Maintenance Crew at the Polly Woodside.
His role is to undertake maintenance on all aspects of the ship, helping preserve our heritage.
Volunteering at the Polly Woodside has brought together all the things he loves, and has given him the opportunity to contribute to his community. The thing Simon enjoys the most about his role is “getting to work with the different people”.
